Gallery show combining installation, video and computer animation, limited edition book of Iris prints and multiple.
Somewhere over the TV was the first real Pope & Guthrie collaboration made in 1995. The installation was shown at the Collective Gallery in Edinburgh, and the Fringe Gallery in Glasgow.
A really over ambitious first piece, the work marked our move away from 'traditional' practice (we'd both recently graduated from printmaking post-grad courses) to a more experimental collaboration. This was the first time that we employed technology (digital animation) and video directly within the work itself.
